Sabina

Sabina was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and during the early seventies, she completed her studies at the University of Kyiv. Upon graduating, she and her family immigrated to Canada, where she resides in the Toronto area.

Captivated by the Canadian scenery, she paints landscapes with bright maples, drifting canoes and floral fields bursting with summer colour. Using a palette knife, she introduces bold colours in the foreground and counterbalances by using subtle hues in the background. Sabina has mastered bringing the intensity of light into her work.
