Beneath the sky, bands of deep blue water and distant land run across the width of the composition. A row of small houses sits along the upper midground. Several buildings have pale walls and simple roof forms, including one house with an orange-red roof on the left and lighter structures near the centre. Yellow and orange trees stand among the buildings. The lower half of the painting contains a shoreline, water, rocks, shrubs, and thin pale tree trunks. The foreground is dense with textured strokes in yellow, orange, green, white, and blue. The paint is thick across the entire surface, with raised marks forming leaves, water, rocks, and sky. The composition is framed by a black outer frame and white liner. The artist’s signature appears at the lower right edge of the painted image.
