A tall vertical landscape painting with two leafy trees positioned in the lower third, one on each side of a central lane. The lane begins near the bottom edge and narrows as it travels toward the distant horizon. The foreground is painted in bands of brown, ochre, green, and black. Above the trees, a pale blue sky fills most of the composition. Large rounded cloud forms rise through the centre in white, grey, mauve, and soft peach. A pale circular sun or moon sits near the upper centre, surrounded by yellow-white marks and scattered blue, grey, and coral strokes. The cloud shapes are defined by thick curved brushwork and raised paint. The trees have dark trunks and dense rounded crowns made from small green, brown, and yellow marks. The central lane creates a clear line of sight from the foreground to the bright opening at the horizon.
