Accessibility Description

A wide horizontal landscape painting with the horizon placed low in the composition. The lower section contains dark brown and black land, a narrow reflective water band, and a distant line of trees. Above, most of the canvas is occupied by large overlapping clouds. The clouds are painted in pale grey, white, mauve, blue, and muted pink, with occasional yellow light near the horizon. Darker violet-grey shapes define the undersides of the clouds, while lighter paint marks trace their upper edges. The sky between the cloud forms is cool blue-grey. Thick, visible strokes and small ridges of paint create an uneven surface throughout the sky. The land is rendered with flatter horizontal strokes, reinforcing the long format of the canvas. A small signature appears near the lower centre-right edge.
