"Red is, since the beginning of my career, THE colour that I master best and my favourite colour. I originally aimed to create a background, thinking that a bull or a lion would eventually appear. But in the end, I opted for an abstract where colour is the main subject. However, red is a colour that is difficult to distinguish on the screen because you can't see the shades either. 

Marquis's profound connection with red is vividly expressed in "Inferno." Through her artistic mastery, she creates a captivating abstract artwork where colour takes center stage, inviting viewers to experience the intensity and depth of the red hues.
