This compelling Murrine glass sculpture, crafted by Darren Petersen, features a brook stickleback fish elegantly perched upon a metal rod in the center of a meticulously designed bowl. The sculpture is supported by a round metal base, enhancing its stability and allowing the vibrant colours and textures of the Murrini to catch the light beautifully.
The fish, characterized by its natural blue and green hues, is intricately patterned and can be removed from the bowl for shipping convenience. The bowl is adorned with numerous Murrini resembling the diverse flora in the stickleback's freshwater habitat.
