Jorgensen says, "My paintings are not intended to be a serious worldview. I like work that involves imagination and technique and that suggests stories. I want to make people happy looking at my paintings."

Born in Tofino and raised in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Jorgensen draws inspiration from his travels in Europe, particularly the Tuscan landscape. After graduating from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in the early 1970s, Jorgensen spent years pursuing various creative endeavours before dedicating himself entirely to painting. Now, collectors worldwide cherish his unique vision and the wonder his work evokes.

The Path Home (30" x 30")
