Elena Henderson Exhibition Opens in Victoria!
Elena Henderson completed her degree in design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Toronto and has been working as a professional artist since 2009. Using predominately acrylic paint, Elena incorporates other media in her work to emphasize and create textural quality in her abstracted floral paintings. While finding balance and beauty in form, there is self-expression and freedom that is transferred from her creative imagination through her brushwork. Counteracting a crisp white palette with lush jewel tones, the resulting paintings are a visual delight and elevate an everyday subject matter to the extraordinary by encouraging the viewer to seek out the surrounding beauty in an ever-changing world.

They are spontaneous - not to say improvised, as Robert captures many familiar locations in Montréal. It is a free-style, remembering a place in how it once was or should be, in one's mind with a hint of mischief.
