Bill Webb at the West End Gallery

UPDATE: October 29, 2020

As we proceed through these unprecedented times with COVID-19 now apart of our daily lives and public gatherings limited to 15, we must move forward carefully to honour Bill Webb's legacy. Until we can all come together to celebrate his life, we will be hosting a dedicated page on our website for his collectors to view his retrospective works. We would appreciate any photographs, stories and memories you wish to share with us to create Bill's online memorial. Please email with attachments art@westendgalleryltd.com

With great sorrow, we have learned of the passing of W.H. Webb in the early hours of Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Bill is survived by his daughter and five grandchildren. We want to express our condolences to Bill's family, friends, and collectors during this incredibly difficult time.

Bill began his career at our gallery in 1986 and displayed a unique talent for realism, depicting Alberta's beautiful landscape as no other artist has done. Not only was he an exceptional artistic talent, but he was also a loving father and a grandfather. Bill's enthusiastic and genuine personality always made you felt like you were the most important person in the room. He was always interested in the well being of his friends and family and was a fantastic listener.

If you would like to send messages of love and support to his family, please mail correspondence to our Edmonton gallery. The mailing address is: West End Gallery, 10337 124 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5N 1R1 or you may email art@westendgalleryltd.com

We will be releasing a tribute celebrating the life and career of W.H. Webb at a later date.

Thank you,

Dan, Lana, and Matthew Hudon and all staff
