Rod Charlesworth

Rod Charlesworth was born in northern BC and moved to the Okanagan Valley when he was seven. He studied at Okanagan University College in the 1970s, where he discovered the Group of Seven and impressionism. Inspired by the Canadian landscape, Charlesworth experimented with colour and the physical qualities of paint. He is committed to providing a refreshing approach to the landscape that reflects its beauty and temporary nature. Charlesworth's visual language portrays the Canadian landscape in its rugged subtleties, inspired by the fact that everyone sees the world differently.
