Peter Shostak Holding a painting at the West End Gallery

Artist Peter Shostak returns to the West End Gallery in Victoria for a major solo exhibition of twenty-five new oil paintings. Mr. Shostak takes the viewer back to simpler times in an environment unspoiled by television, smartphones and social media.

Born in rural Bonnyville, Alberta, to parents who had emigrated from Ukraine, Peter fondly remembers working on the farm and playing pond hockey with his brothers. It is fitting that the title of this latest exhibition at the West End Gallery is, "This Was Our Childhood."

Artwork belonging to this exhibition is available for purchase and subject to pre-sale. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or wish to purchase a painting by Peter Shostak. Call 250.388.0009. The showing will continue until October 15, 2020.
