Newly Released Painting from The Robert Genn Archive!

Three new paintings have arrived from internationally acclaimed painter Robert Genn (1936-2014). This recent release from The Robert Genn Archives includes two never before seen plein air studies. Storm in the Kananaskis was painted circa 2010 and Late Light, O'Hara in 2013. Also included is Late Afternoon, Alert Bay, and oil painting from July 22, 1983.

Robert Genn was an internationally acclaimed painter born in Victoria in 1936 whose formal training included the University of Victoria, the University of British Columbia and the Art Center School in Los Angeles, California.

Having developed a distinct personal style, Robert’s technique incorporated a tradition of strong design with harmonic patterns of colour and form. His depictions of the Canadian landscape have become an important part of our cultural heritage.
