WooRank Award West End Gallery

We are so excited to receive this honour after the countless hours we have invested in launching our new website since the spring of 2020. This specific award, given to us by WooRank, recognizes our investment in our user experience when interacting with our website. The technical term given by Google is Core Web Vitals [CWV].

Why are we so excited about our Google CWV score and receiving an obscure award for something that most internet goers / Googlers are unaware of? Forbes.com wrote a great article summarizing why this is very important for small businesses websites. Here are the Coles Notes or TLDR closing of the linked article above:

"Core Web Vitals are important for SEO, as they can help give your website more recognition and keep it organized and clean. These vitals can help improve your website's visibility and ranking in browsers, as well as give your audience a hassle-free experience while browsing your page. It's better to start optimizing your website as soon as possible to avoid having negative feedback or lower rankings in search results." - Jaye Bae March 21, 2021 Forbes Councils Member.

In conclusion, we are proud of this accomplishment because, in the long term, our small business and the artists we represent in Canada will have an opportunity for a greater global audience and cement our belief that Canadian art is incomparable in value and quality.
