Tsunami Glassworks
Founded by husband and wife team Kirston Gene and Eva Milinkovic, Tsunami Glassworks specializes in designing and producing both blown and cast glass for the contemporary living environment. Kirston Gene works primarily in hot glass, engaging in both blown vessels and sculptural glass pieces. He has a psychology degree from the University of Windsor, and has worked as a teacher and assistant for the glass and welding programs at Sheridan College. Eva's reputation as a glass artist has been featured in magazines internationally, including recognition in Germany, England, the United States, and Canada. Located in Windsor, Ontario, Tsunami's glass products celebrate the distinct styles of Gene and Milinkovic and can be seen in galleries throughout the world.
Our philosophy is reflected in consistency and perseverance of our designs, incorporating form, colour, and nature into graceful objects with the hope that they will be accessible to everyone, and enjoyed by a broad audience. Tsunami's continuing mandate is for its work to be efficient and personable all the while making the designers and craftspeople available to its clients, achieving balance between the art of glass design, and manufacturing.
