André Turenne

André Turenne was born in Granby, Québec in 1941. After finishing high school he went on to receive his diploma at the Institut de Technologie de Montréal in 1961. After this, he studied design and drawing at L'École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal from 1963-65. He studied design, drawing and painting at Université de Sherbrooke where he received his B.A. in 1966. From 1973-74 he studied painting at Université de Québec à Montréal. He received his Bachelor's of Education in Physics in 1974. Since 1972 he has been participating in numerous exhibitions in the Eastern Townships including: Centre d'Arts de Cowanville, Centre d'Accueil pour Jeunes Étudiants et Travailleurs à Granby, L'Escale (Granby)--group exhibition and Séminaire de St-Hyacinthe--group exhibition.
